The Byzantine Empire

About the project
The Byzantine Empire - Interactive DVDs - Project for the Hellenic Ministry of
Culture - a series of 4 interactive multilingual DVDs for the Byzantine Christian Museum of Athens, Museum of Byzantine Culture in Thessaloniki, the UNESCO heritage sites of Mystras and the Medieval City of Rhodes. The DVDs included presentations of interactive exhibitions, timelines, map animations, virtual tours, 3-D reproductions of archaeological sites and artefacts as well as and interactive educational games.

For secondary schools, Ministry of Education, Cyprus

Acting as the leading subcontractor of IBM for this project, we designed and developed SCORM 2004 compliant interactive digital educational content.

About the project
We developed 13 different types of learning objects: simulations, multimedia presentations (2-D and 3-D), educational games, videos, maps, texts, interactive APPS, self-assessment exercises, diagrams, etc. type infographics. Subjects covered Lyceum classes (1st – 3rd class) History, Computing, Biology and Greek Literature totaling over 150 interactive self-assessment exercises, interactive animations, virtual tours, 3-D reproductions of archaeological sites and interactive games and quizzes.

About the project
The Bank of Cyprus Cultural Foundation expanded and developed its educational programme beyond the boundaries of the Museum, with the development of this interactive timeline microsite. It is titled «From the electrum to the euro» and features a chronological and geographical exploration of the history of strong currencies from the earliest coins to the present day. The application includes interactive exercises. A touch-screen in situ version in the Museum is available for visitors.

About the project
We designed and developed a children’s educational game based explaining what productivity is.
Game features include:
Illustrations, objects and texts - with animation, sound effects, with a hero moving and talking, narrative texts and music.
